    COLORS AND FINISHES

    Coloured Plastic

    Colour powder coating is applied to the zinc electroplated frame for a “bullet proof” finish that will stand up to harsh weather conditions. Custom colours are available by special order. Call for information and custom order pricing. Colours may vary slightly.

    Galvanized

    Our galvanized finish uses a hot dipped galvanizing process that is done after fabrication and then hand polished to ensure a smooth finish.

    Stainless Steel

    Made from high quality Grade 316 stainless steel frame with an electro-polish finish. Our stainless steel bike racks are ideal for oceanside or architecturally sensitive locations.

    Diagrams

    As shown in our specifications, and diagrams – a consumer with a bicycle can access the Bike Rack from both sides – saving 1/3rd of the space of conventional side storage bike racks. To give you an idea of what sort of space layout and planning you must do for our
    racks – here is our designation to use the bike racks to their maximum potential:
    • Allow 2 feet (61 cm) from the footing pin to a curb or wall when installing for single-side use.
    • For parallel layouts allow 12 feet (3.66 m) between mainframe.
    • For inline layouts allow 3 feet (91 cm) – however a minimum of 18 inches (46 cm) is
      required between the shoulder and any obstruction.
